Professional Team

Our team includes: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), Registered Environmental Assessor (REA), Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC) as well as CADD technician and other professional support staff.

Edward DeLorme, Richard Johnson, Linda DeLorme, and Paul d'Ombrain have worked as a team on numerous remediation projects over the last 20 years. The team offers more than 90 years of experience providing industrial hygiene services to school districts, government agencies, industrial, commercial, and institutional clients and private homeowners. We also have a senior training specialist on staff.

Professional Services

We focus our day to day services on:

- Detailed asbestos surveys and documentation
- Detailed Lead (Pb) based paint surveys and documentation
- Indoor Air Quality studies
- Visual and mechanical surveys for mold and other biological contamination
- Employee chemical exposure monitoring
- Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and Phase III remediation when needed.

Our services include indentifying potential risks and compliance needs. If further prevention measures are needed, we work with employers to find practical solutions to prevent occupational illnesses or injuries. Reports are complete, well organized and provide information to help employers understand issues and implement prevention plans. Our approach is professional and scientific but we strive to make complicated regulatory and health issues understandable to employees and management.

Project Experience

The TEC team has responded to many types of projects that have ranged from a relatively small basement flood to assisting the EPA and other federal agencies in identifying the extent of Anthrax contamination within the Hart Senate Building in Washington D.C. We have developed numerous abatement and remediation specifications from projects ranging from a simple mold clean-up to major asbestos and lead abatement projects to developing rather elaborate containment and decontamination procedures for Anthrax.

Rest assured that when we receive your call to respond to your project needs, we will not have to wait for equipment from a rental agency or from our "other" office. TEC owns and uses "state of the art" equipment including:
- FLIR Thermal Imaging Cameras
- Rigid High Quality Fiber Optic Bore Scopes (allowing us to take digital  photographs within otherwise hidden or enclosed spaces such as wall cavities, above hard ceilings and vaults)
- Indoor Air Quality Monitors
- Photo Ionization Detectors (PID's) and
- Four gas monitors (Co, Co2, H2S, LEL) to respond to projects with unknown contamination or confined space emergencies.
